A tour of Taleinsin West, the summer camp (and work) of the famous American architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Located in Scotsdale AZ, outside Pheonix, Taliesin West was the summer residence of Mr. Wright and now home of the Wright school of Architecture. It took 20 years to build and is another example of Mr. Wrights ability to meld his works into the surroundings using native materials and taking inspiration from early native cultures. Wright felt that young America deserved its own architectural voice and needed to distance itself form old world forms.
