daddy has been learning lots of new safety concerns that he hasn't thought about until sterling entered his life. the latest lesson - why not to put sharp knives on the bottom rack of the dishwasher (yes, we compromised and now use the dishwasher). sterling finds them to be great fun. thankfully, these knives were just dull butterknives, but the lesson has been learned! good thing mommy was in the shower when this happened. :)
