Parnell offered brief remarks at the 19th Annual Covenant House Alaska Candlelight Vigil. The mission of Covenant House is to help youth in crisis 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with particular emphasis on helping homeless youth get off the streets. Parnell emphasized that his administration is focused on ensuring "that every Alaskan child has a safe home, or a safe home to go to."
