Green Screen Test w/ Cheap Shop Lights
I bought 4 cheap shop lights at Home Depot to light this shot. They're the clamp type with the metal dome reflectors. The bulbs I'm using are 100W equivalents (23W actual) compact fluorescent bulbs rated at 3500K/1500 lumens. It's just enough light to key a tight shot with, but it's not enough for full body or even half body, and I did have to chroma key a pretty wide color/luma spectrum to get rid of the screen.
I set my camera to the tungsten preset and I noticed a hint of blue in my skin, probably because the tungsten setting is most likely 3200K. That extra 300K makes a difference! I may experiment with a custom white balance later. On a really tight budget, this works pretty well. Not bad for $45!
