Renewable energy is a topic of great interest to all island governments. While significant strides have been made in recent years, a key question for the Pacific Islands region is whether the desired renewable energy targets are really achievable. This seminar will examine this question with a presentation by one of the region’s foremost authorities on island energy matters.
Andrew Daka is Executive Director of the Pacific Power Association (PPA). The PPA is an inter-governmental agency that promotes cooperation among Pacific island power utilities through technical training, exchange of information, sharing of senior management and engineering expertise and other activities of benefit to the members.
