The Salvation Armys pop group, the Joystrings were formed in 1964. They were a big hit and had several songs in the charts. We hear from Peter & Sylvia Dalziel and Joy Webb what it was really like being a christian band with chart sucess.

The release of this film online coinsides with the release of Sylvia Dalziel's book, The Joystrings: The Story Of The Salvation Army Pop Group. Sylvia will be touring with her book to Skegness, Coventry, Poole, Bristol and Peterborough, and concluding the tour on the Joystrings' anniversary on 25 November 2013.
