This is a video I shot on the Vegas strip on Halloween 2009. It was absolutely crazy conditions to shoot in, but so many great costumes and an awesome vibe about the whole night. This is my first attempt at shooting HD video on a DSLR camera and it was a baptism of fire! No matter what shutter I selected I could not get rid of the strobing/flickering/electric lighting effect on some of the shots. Maybe because there is so many light sources.

I used the Canon 7D & Zeiss 35mmm f2 prime/Canon 16-35 f2.8 with a Zacuto Z-finder, which was a gem! But exposure and settings is all a bit hit and miss on this as it was my first time. I did watch Phil Bloom's 7D video first to give me some idea about the video functions and that was a great help. But I must say the low light performance of the camera was great.
