Set in an urban ghetto in Western India, 'Please Don't Beat Me, Sir!' brings us into the lives of Budhan Theatre, a group of young Chhara Tribals who are considered “born criminals.” Using Theatre as a weapon, these young people fight a corrupt police system, and a criminal identity that has been internalized by their elders.
