My Grandfather, Philip Slater, passed away this June.
He was a great man who achieved much in his lifetime. He was a renowned sociologist and a bestselling author. He was a playwright and an actor. He taught at Harvard, Brandeis, and UCSC. He wrote more than 25 novels and plays. And that doesn't cover half of what can be said about him.

To honor his life, my father & I spread his ashes in the pacific ocean at his favorite beach.
To celebrate his life, we poured his ashes into Prosecco, his favorite beverage, to share one last drink with him.
