What I like most about the video is the way each of the footage blends well together and how it goes through black and white to colour to show the audience what the model is going for.
The music and video play well with each other as it looks like it is from a music video or a movie scene.
The model is sitting away from the camera with it looking at her face.
The video has the model putting on different make up such as eye liner and lipstick with a soundtrack of Amelie playing. The sounds go well with the scene and the model. I made sure the camera did not move at all as I wanted to focus only on the face. The model moved forward on some scene but it went well as it looks like the camera in on the makeup table in front of her. The adjustments I made in the video was on the levels change it all to 43- 1.23- 217 to bring out the light on the model’s face. And on some of the scenes I made them black and white while leaving some in colour to show the colour of the makeup she was using. And in between the takes I used a fade affect to make it go faster as the model is finishing up.
The message behind the video is showing a normal teenage girl getting ready for a day out with a date or with her friends. This shows what the stages are for putting on makeup, each girl has different ways to get started and how they finish.
What I learned from this experiment is how to put audio into a video and how to cut parts of it down to get certain parts of the song. If I could do this video again I would use different models and make a college of different girls and show how different they would put on makeup on.
