In the modeling paradigm supported by Catalog Model Builder, a model is a collection of simulation services, each of which is a collection of input/output parameters. A parameter contains information about data type, unit, and value that represents a certain property in the model. Creating a model in Catalog Model Builder is essentially a process of connecting parameters in different simulation services by defining mathematical relationships among them. A model may include hundreds of parameters from dozens of simulation services, and this gives rise to need for effective visualization of parameters that may reduce distraction and scrolling during the model creation process. This video goes through visualization options supported by Catalog Model Builder.
