On June 16th, 2008 our family embarked on a journey around the United States and Canada seeking out the lost by connecting with churches and ministries who had the same heart for the poor. Most of the time however, we simply responded to the Holy Spirit and did our own thing to love on the people God was putting in front of us every day. We traveled 16,652 miles throughout the United States and Canada. We made it to 35 states, 3 Canadian provinces, and 30 or so major cities where we connected with over 70 mercy ministries that reach out to and love on the poor. It was a year of obedience, a year of learning, and a year of falling deeper in love with Jesus as we served the least of these.
