My first video with the Canon 70D resulted in it shutting off after ten seconds of recording.
The last thing I wanted was to have a camera with a problem.
Then I changed some settings and it seemed to work okay, until I tried to shoot a soccer game of my kids.
It continued to stop recording after about ten seconds.
Frustrated, I drove to Best Buy after the game, and bought the fastest SDHC memory card I could find there.
I went home, set up some basic light to see how it did in low light, and with on camera sound (wanted to see how it picked up the lens focus noise my brother complained of having). I did hear the lens motor, but it was not too bad.

Overall, I was pleased with the exception of how the video falls apart after making simple edits.
I guess I am going back to using Cineform codec before the edit.

Shot at f 1.8
