REPLICA is a collaboration between Daniel Arsham, Jonah Bokaer, and Judith Sanchez Ruiz designed for stage, gallery, and site-specific environment. The production received initial commissioning support from Cultural Programs of the National Academy of Sciences towards the aim of catalyzing investigative research between the fields of neuroscience and the performing arts. With this initial support, the artists focused their studio practice to explore memory loss, movement pattern recognition, and perceptual faculties in relationship to space. The result is REPLICA, a collaboration questioning the role of choreography & design in live performance.
