Had a holiday in California this September so decided to take my BMCC along for the ride. All footage is handheld apart from when I was able to rest the camera on something solid. The lens I used was a Canon 17-55mm. Most of the time it is wide open and thankfully that was the case because I had no way to tell focus in broad daylight as the viewfinder is pretty awful in that scenario.
The footage is a mixture of RAW and ProRes. I used Resolve for the RAW and FCP for the ProRes. A lot of it is inspired by Andrew Julian's 'Meet me in Big Sur' video (vimeo.com/58045466) which was one of the first BMCC clips I saw and basically convinced me to get the camera. My footage isn't near as good as his though! Having said that this camera does it justice because of how ridiculously flexible the RAW footage is in Resolve.
