You don't often hear the words "Climate Change" and "Tourism" in the same sentence, but if you consider that over a billion travelers each year pay to experience to coral reefs, glaciers, tropical islands and exotic wildlife, the cost of climate change to the tourism industry becomes apparent. Jamie Sweeting, former Chief Environmental Officer for Royal Caribbean, has focused on this issue for years, and believes that the ultimate solution lies in educating and increasing stewardship at the destinations most vulnerable to climate change.
