In this video, Cameron Young, the Director of the Center for Snake Conservation explains how to help a Reticulated Python named Gergasi with a bad shed. Bad sheds happen from time to time with all snakes and sometimes we feel a little better if we can help our snake. To help with a shed, you can first soak your snake in warm water (75-80 degrees but be sure to measure the temperature as warm to us is hot to a snake) and then let your snake crawl through your hands while you gently peel the stuck skin away. Never pick at a snake's skin but let the snake do the work while you hold it.
