First and second grades students at Osceola Adventist Christian School (OACS) worked during the 2012-2013 school year to develop a SimCity-like project. The City Project helped them to understand how communities grow and change over time, while incorporating Bible, mathematics, language arts, and science concepts into social studies. This project is done on a cyclical basis by Dr. Cookenmaster, the homeroom teacher and school principal. This is the first year that students at OACS participated in this exciting project.
