With over 213,000 square feet of space the Loyola Science Center facilitates “effective, intellectual, collisions”, strategically juxtaposing faculty offices, classrooms, laboratories, and study/lounges unite Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, and Electrical Engineering.
The University of Scranton's goal was to provide students with an environment that would encourage learning and discovery, specifically in the STEM fields. This building does just that.
A new atrium at the heart of the facility encourages interaction among the sciences while linking them with the Campus Commons and the DeNaples Center and Green.
