Ornes Båtbyggeri in Sognefjorden, Norway, built a copy of the Oseberg viking ship in 2003. The ship was built for a Japanese bank, and is now on display at the Michinoku Traditional Wooden Boat Museum in Japan. The ship is not an exact replica, and was built using modern tools and methods. But it is still very beautiful. The ship was rigged with a mast and sails, and was test sailed before it was shipped to Japan.
