Upper reaches of Stein Valley, last undisturbed watershed remaining in SW BC is rarely visited. I was fortunate to be able to traverse from Lillooet Lake near Pemberton to Lytton, BC distance of more than a 100 km . Initially climbing into frozen world of high alpine passes already covered by new snow, I hiked and bushwhacked down to the valley over a period of 5 days surrounded by spectacular scenery. Nlaka'pamux protects over 50 species of mammals, including mountain goat, cougar, wolverine, black and grizzly bear. Great adventure in peaceful solitude for the entire journey.
