This video was put together to show the faces of brave women fighting rare and aggressive gynecological cancers, called Small or Large Cell Neuroendocrine Cervical Cancer. Although it is rare, there is a movement and a group for women diagnosed with these cancers. These are some of the most courageous women. The come from every walk of life and from around the world. They have been fortunate enough to forge real bonds with each other and this video is a compilation of the three annual meet-ups they have had so far.
This video was also put together to help spread awareness for all gynecological cancers. Very little attention is paid to these devastating cancers. The symptoms of gynecological cancers are usually nothing more than a whisper and many are found in advanced stages. Be proactive in your health care...ask questions....listen to your body. Even if you aren't due for a PAP, you still need your annual Well Woman Exam. And last, but not least; Only 70% of cervical cancer is caused by HPV. Not all and not SCCC or LCCC. There are no pre-cancerous stages and they are not slow growing in nature as all the propaganda and TV commercials would have you believe with their clever wording. Get vaccinated if you qualify, but never let your guard down. #checkyourbox !
