In 1991 Terry Waite was released from captivity after five years as a hostage in Beirut.
In this short film we find him 21 years later as he returns to Lebanon to revisit some of the places he knew, observe the plight of refugees fleeing the fighting in Syria, and make an historic meeting with his former captors.

Produced by Julian Simmonds for the Telegraph in December 2012
Shot in Lebanon on Nikon DSLR cameras.
