This scholar symposium is a two-day event held in conjunction with the current exhibition, Ideal [Dis-] Placements: Old Masters at the Pulitzer (October 24, 2008—October 3, 2009). The meeting will explore how environments shape the viewing experience of art, especially Old Master paintings.
