Just a little test of the Panasonic GH3 and the 14-140mm kit lens - all handheld.
The 14-140mm is not that bad, despite the f/3.5-5.6 does not make it the first choice in low-light situations. But the fact that this lens provides an angle of view equivalent to a 28-280mm and the very effective OIS makes this a great allround lens. The zoom is not easy to operate during recording as it is not smooth enough and also makes some noise when handled.
Format: AVCHD 1920x1080 50P 28 Mbps
Closeups with spider: Ex. Tele Conv + 2 X digital zoom - still useable. Was taken from about 2 meters distance handheld - almost no shaking thanks to the OIS. Purple flower with 4 x digital zoom is not that bad either, but there will be issues.
Editted quickly in Premiere Pro CC
Just added a bit of "Looks" in post - nothing else.
