"Multiplexing Tautophone" is a new robot sound artwork that is a part of a installation performance titled "Psychophysics Machines". The installation involves a number of acoustic lens robots that focus and move sound around the room. This video is a short demo of the work installed in Luzern Switzerland as part of "Jurassic Lab IV " run by Labor Luzern. The robot is able to continually rotate at up to 500 rpm shredding the sound beam onto many surfaces. Please disregard the bad sound quality as always the high level ultrasound is making it difficult to record audio.
