“Given Our Chance” is about adoption and the opportunities given to children when they are adopted. Given Our Chance is an award winning documentary released July 2013, The documentary chronicles the story of Alex King and Izidor Ruckel, two Romanian orphans. They discuss what it was like for them to grow up in an orphanage and how they were able to overcome their struggles. Others individuals are interviewed and describe the benefits of adoption, from college professor to 20/20 producer who did many stories on the Romanian orphan situation. Alex and Izidor agree that the power of love through adoption has helped them and given them a chance in life. They hope that through this documentary others will get involved in adoption. They hope that this documentary inspires others and gives hope to the children around the world that are hoping for a family.
