See all Show me
when my roommate passed along a link containing a talk by a filmmaker regarding hard work and dedication to film, i was struck by what he challenged us to do.

the challenge was to go out and shoot a whole month of sunrises in a row and put them together in a video. we both heard the talk on september 30th and the next month was already set.

too many times we forget that with passion comes dedication and hard work. what we learned is that it's often in these small moments of beauty, that we are able to peek into the glory of an amazing God.

this is a little video on how this whole project came together

where is that cliff that you are standing on with the clouds ? (how would one get there)

dude your videos are super deep and inspiring. gonna share with all my friends.
  • JJ Starr plus 2 years ago
brett, the cliff is somewhere in the santa monica mountains. there are a ton of canyon roads off the pch that lead to high points within the mountains, so honestly i don't remember which one we took that day. but it's an incredible view. do you live out near malibu/santa monica? if so, i would just recommend getting in your car and driving up some canyon and discovering what's up there. it's pretty cool. you'll probably find something even better than that spot!

    thanks for watching and sharing!
