As a choral singer in Illumni Men's Chorale, I was asked by the Greater Seattle Choral Consortium to create a video piece to promote their first "Seattle Sings" event at St. Mark's Cathedral.

This was a wonderful challenge, and another opportunity to explore particle system designs. Because of time constraints, I kept the concept simple, and didn't even know which order the shots would be in until near the end. I wanted to create a "river of light" that faded out into the background, and settled on the wonderful composition you see in the preview frame.

I also particularly loved the blending and tones of color when working in 32-bit, as opposed to 8, or 16, and gently "stacking" the Glow effect created some great, subtle gradients.

With music generously donated by Karen P. Thomas, it really came together well.
