a short impression of the two channel video installation titled Futuros Diferenciados. It shows young people from Mexico DF talking about their future prospects and receiving comments by their class mates like in a casting show. On the second screen there is the sociologist Gabriel Medina analyzing various aspects of the youngsters situation, especially giving a perspective on a society that shifts existencial risks from the general public to the individual.
The installation was produced in Mexico DF in April/May 2013 in the framework of an EMARE work stay of REINIGUNGSGESELLSCHAFT. It was presented in the framework of the EMAN # EMARE exhibition at the Center for Digital Cultures as part of the Transitio MX_05 festival in Mexico DF 2013.
