by Espen Sommer Eide.
The instrument transfers the sound of two extinct languages from the vinyl record, through the larynx of the performer, and is then re-shaped into new words and sentences. The performer speaks with the voice of the dead language / the dead language speaks through the performer.
Exhibited as part of the solo exhibition 'Dead Language Poetry' at Bergen Kunsthall 2013 and as part of group exhibition 'Dread - fear in the age of technological accelleration' at Halle de Haarlem.
