My son hauls coal slag from a local coal burning power plant to a processing mill. The mill converts the slag to sand blasting media called Black Diamond.

The truck has 3 fixed axles and 4 move-able axles. The move-able ones drop down by air pressure in order to spread out the 88,000 pounds of a fully loaded truck.

    lol, I was expecting Mike from Dirty Jobs to come into scene. Interesting video, shows those of us not around that industry a little bit into the workings of something not common to a different crowd.
