For some reason when it is said by a doctor, it has more weight... Thank you Bridget for saying what patients would like to say to doctors and hospitals in this talk. We are all people who might one day need care. And even if we never did, the only right thing is still clear by the Golden Rule. My version, the Golden Rule for Docs is this: Treat patients as you would want your mother to be treated. I smiled when Bridget mentioned a similar mom rule for hospitals.
