If you live in Texas, you know it is always windy here.

When my new GoPro Hero Black 3+ arrived the other day I wanted to see how it would perform with my Zenmuse H3-2d gimbal attached to my Phantom. It was just before sunset and the wind was gusting between 15-20 mph and so I thought what a perfect way to test it out in high winds.

I mounted the new GoPro 3+ to the Zenmuse gimbal and launched it into the high winds. Using the gimbal elevation controls I pointed the camera slightly upwards so that the propeller guards would clearly show.

As you can see in the video, the Zenmuse H3-2D performed extremely well in gusty high wind conditions. I was really surprised. When I was standing on the ground, all I could see was the Phantom bouncing around and being thrown back and forth by the high Texas gusty winds. But the video clearly shows how well the gimbal performed. I was pleasantly surprised.
