Geologist Chuck Blay spoke to NOAA's Kauai 2013 Ocean Awareness Training program titled "Respecting Marine Resources." Chuck presented "Coral-Algal Reefs of Hawaii" - a talk that was loaded with graphics and illustrations.
The event was coordinated by Jean Souza and volunteers. The 3-day multi-session and field symposium held at The Cliffs in Princeville, Kauai was coordinated and sponsored by the Kauai Office of Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary - NOAA - National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
