This movie starts in the town of Montignac, and then visits La Roque Saint Christophe, a troglodytic fort and town carved into a rockface 80m high and 1km long; then the town of Les Eyzies-de-Tayac-Sireuil which is the location of the National Museum of Prehistory; then the Chateau de Castelnaud, on a cliff overlooking the Dordogne River. Castelnaud castle was built in the 12th century, when it figured in the Albigensian Crusade, and later during the Hundred Years War it was allied with the Plantagenets. The castle has been restored and now houses a medieval museum. Finally, the movie visits the town of Saint Emilion, centre of one of the principal red wine areas of the Bordeaux region.
The movie was made from stills taken with my Panasonic ZS30 camera on a visit in June 2013.
