Last spring I partially tore my MCL leaving me unable to snowboard for the rest of the winter, and most of the summer at Mt.Hood as well. Right around the same time my good friend Garrett Read let me borrow a Canon T2i, and I fell in love with cinematography all over again.
I originally titled this short film "Mt.Hood - May 8th - Oct 1st, 2013" but after reviewing the film again and again, I realized it may not make sense as it was shot between travels from my home near Seattle, WA down to Mt.Hood for the summer. Many snowboarders from around the world come to Mt.Hood to continue their winter experience through the summer and into the fall.
My goal was to engage the ever-growing technological age with captivating shots of nature, and the feeling that snowboarders have as they anticipate the first snow of winter.
Thanks for your time, Enjoy!
