In Ages of the Moon Seán McGinley and Stephen Rea play
old friends Byron and Ames. They sit, reflect and bicker until fifty years of love, friendship and rivalry are put to the test at the barrel of a gun.

We’re delighted to be able to bring Ages of the Moon back to the Abbey after a sell out run earlier this year. We’re big fans of Sam Shepard’s work. Since 2006 we have produced three of his plays – True West, Fool for Love and the Abbey commissioned Kicking a Dead Horse. We hope you’ll enjoy this, his latest play, once again commissioned by us. It’s back for 16 performances
only before heading to New York in January.

Ends 28 November 2008
Mon – Sat 7.30pm, Sat matinee 2pm
Tickets from €17
