The 2009 DVD of Christchurch, the first to be made for many years, tells the story of Christchurch from early times to the present day, as seen by the people who know it best.
Originally conceived as an interactive insiders’ guide on DVD, it has now been updated and adapted for the cinema. It includes shots of the beautiful borough showing its history, its people and its attractions. But what makes it unique is the fact that the story of the town is told by local people who have grown up and who live and work in the area.
The film maker was inspired by the history, natural beauty and charm of the place and set about to capture the spirit of the community's pride in the town and its culture over the course of a year.

The Film is being shown at The Regent Centre, Christchurch in support of local charities.
