Fighting for Our Lives - Brian Lowe 11/18/09 Why do Christians watch as their friends wander away from following hard after Christ without saying anything? I’m convinced it has everything to do with how we understand the gospel. The gospel creates a new community where believers fight for and with one another to see love and good works for Jesus in our lives. Perhaps, the reason our churches do not reflect this new community is not because of our structure or programs, but because we have not fully understood the work of the gospel in our lives to create a community that fights for and with one another to see us press on toward Jesus.
