Thanks for the comments guys. Let me answer some questions.

- Yes, Phantom camera.
- Most shots are 510 fps. The throw down shot at the start was slowed down 50% more in post.
- Ari (the cinematographer) is really great, her reel can be seen here: ariwegner.com/showreel.html
- Yes, real fire (actual explosion)
- HD version may still come in the next few weeks

I must say that this is one of THE MOST powerful pieces, to date, that i've seen on Vimeo. The sheer intensity from the performance by the executed, simply made me want more.

I'm almost like Zacuto/Steve. I wanna know why this guy had so much rage that he felt the need to BLOW this poor guy up.

And judging by the make-up, this scenario had been going on for some time, so I'd honestly like to know what happened.

Believe me none of these desires of mind are by any means breaking down the piece, I'm attempting to merely state the facts.

I want more.

And in my opinion thats what makes this sooooooo friggin great. no one word was spoken, nor had I ever seen these characters before, but I had sympathy for the guy in the car, while at the same time, feeling sympathetic for the guy doing the burning, because he did look hurt.

Outstanding work for sure ...... And frankly quite disturbing .... which makes it even better if possible .... I'm mean I looked the video around 20 times since noon ..... check all details ... and it's impressive by its realism .... the play of the actors ... details like dirt on skin, scares, and so on .... the expression of the guy in the car... that is why films, docs, movies are meant to do ... provoke and emotion .... and in that way you've scored my friend .. ! ;) (still some details like the "weakness of the impact on the close up shot following the "entry" scene, thigtening of the rope were the "victim" is gently waiting for it to be noded .... but still it's a good thing ... theses are small details telling me that it is a play and not a real one ... :D cheers. Such a fantastic job with the beginning shot of the man flinging the other guy to the ground. It has that same feeling as when you are riding a roller coaster and you feel like you swallow your lungs at the top of the first drop.

Such a solid video, very very believable acting, and great cutting. You nailed it!
