Pepe Julian Onziema. recipient of the 2012 Clinton Global Citizen Award, addresses Fordham's LGBTI group, Pride Alliance, on the "kill the gays bill", pending in the Ugandan Parliament. Pepe, a Ugandan transman, is one of the leaders in the fight against the bill and a LGBTI trainer all over Africa. Pepe has teamed up with Tim McCarthy on their project, "Voices of the Abasiyazzi = Sharing Hope + Creating Allies". Their project puts cameras and editing equipment into the hands of Ugandans to tell their own stories to their own people. The very people who can really make the change in Ugandan society.

Extra Special Thanks to Sarah Lyons for the introduction to Pride Alliance and the Board of Pride Alliance, Frank Sivilli, James Demetriades, Sarah Lyons and Colin Dobell for their invitation.

Thanks also to the office of Multicultural Affairs and Sofia Bautista-Pertuz, Assistant Dean and Director of OMA and everyone at Fordham University.

And a belly full of thanks to John Burns and Sedexo for the fab food!!!
