Great video Bill. I liked all the stuff you tried to fix it, and was incredibly surprised that the singing didn't work. Well done on fixing it.
We've recently been having a lot of Mac troubles, so I know what you went through. Ours was a software problem, so we could turn ours on, but couldn't get into OSX - You can imagine how frustrating that was! After scouring the internet to no avail, I called the support line. The first guy had to get help, then the next guy was surprised at how much I had done, but he said all we could do was reset it and start again :(
Fortunately we had recently backed almost all of it up, so we didn't loose too much.
But you're right, never take your computer for granted, and ALWAYS BACK EVERYTHING UP! haha!
Oh, what's the name of that song which is played on your journey to the Uni? I really like it. I don't know where I've heard it before. I think it's from Football Factory. Thanks.
Really enjoyed that mate, congrats on saving your Mac.

i loved the superman tunes
My power supply died too!! I looked into how much it would cost for a replacement and it just wasn't worth it for me.
My iMac is cute and all, but that G4 had so much history! :p
Oh, and just so you know, when your computer dies like that, you can take out the hard drive and put it in an external case go get to the files !!
I can understand beacause i love my macbook two.
