Two sea days from Sharm El Sheikh, the Amsterdam makes an overnight visit to Piraeus, Greece. On April 9, 2012, Mark leads Douglas and Meike on a morning tour of Athens visiting Hadrian's Library, the Roman Agora, the Tower of the Winds, the Ancient Agora, and the Acropolis. At the Mitropoli Cathedral, they meet up with the Neptunes (Sean, Kyle, and Rory) and photographer Eric. After a walk through Constitution Square, around the Parliament House, into the National Garden, and past the Presidential Palace, they visit the Panithinaikon Stadium, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, and the Lord Byron Monument before lunch and a subway ride back to port. On April 10, 2012, Mark and Sean meet in Piraeus and return to the Ancient Agora in Athens to visit the Temple of Hephaistos. After a Greek breakfast, they visit the Odeon of Herodes Atticus and the New Acropolis Museum before returning to Piraeus by subway.
