The Center for World Music is a San Diego non-profit who's mission is to increase acceptance of other cultures through their music.

This is a mailer intended to be sent to VIPs (CEOs, presidents, etc) of local San Diego companies, either as a thank you to recent contributors or as a request for donations.

Insane. Awesome use of time lapsings, perfect song, and an epic project. It's awesome to see the entire process, from start to finish.

I stay away from time elapse because of the level of procrastination that it would show on my part.

Great project. Fun to watch the whole thing come together.

    Wow. I am amazed.

Jacob, I'm trying to teach myself design, and seeing that whole process was really awesome.

I have a (possibly strange) question: what was your favorite design assignment that *wasn't* a project that was going to be used in the real world?
  • Jacob plus 2 years ago
    Thank you.

This project was actually for my Independent Study class, and was not commissioned by the actual client. The logo for The Center is mine as well, so I am going to see about setting up a meeting with someone there to see if I can get them to use it. They really don't have much right now.

I would have to say that either this project or this one: vimeo.com/320015 would be my favorite class assignment. Does that answer your question?
