BBC Inside Out story of the World's first black professional footballer. I followed Arthur Wharton's granddaughter back to Ghana, Arthur's country of birth, to meet her long-lost relatives. His story is one that bridges the racial divides in football and traces a link between African and English football back to the 1880s.
This film was entirely self-shot by me in October 2012, mainly on a Canon XF305, but also with some material shot on a Panasonic GH2.
