Handle With Care is an audiovisual piece showed in Guarene d'Alba (CN) at Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo in September 2009 within a collective show titled 'Da Guarene all'Etna, 10 anni di Fotografia Italiana' curated by Filippo Maggia and Patrizia Sandretto. The same piece with printing photographs have been showed also in Berlin at Galerie Ratskeller in October 2010 curated by Katharina Hausel within the Berlin's month of Photography.

The work starts from the idea of fracture, breaking, tearing. Matter strikes me in its brutal, distruptive power. The loss of coordinates, the disorientation. My aim is to capture the elementary perception, the microscopical, by means of human interferences, actions, artifacts. The organic, along with the visceral. Mine is an attempt at mapping frailty, in order to find the gap between us and the world.
