Sunset timelapse at the Fisherman's Wharf, Tamsui. Althought the sky was dull, but the color temperature was nice after the sun set. I should have left the camera on for a bit longer.

Some P&S cameras have build-in timers, but their functions are limited. A workaround would be the firmware hack for Canon DigicIII cameras called CHDK. I never used it but I've seen people getting good results with it.
so are you saying there was a nice "flare up" after the sun went down? sometimes that happens, because you have to think that after the sun goes down, it is still able to backlight and illuminate the clouds and atmosphere at the edge of the horizon. i have seen professional movie people shoot a sunset and pack up their gear the moment the sun goes down behind the horizon. little did they know the best color was coming about 10 minutes later! :)
keep em coming, man.
Oh, the music is 'Helpless' by Needle.
