Ommwriter is a strange new text editor for Mac OS X. It sings at you.

But I'm not interested in it for the sake of writing prose, but code. I use text editors that visually highlight code: variables are one color, shell commands are another. If a block starts with a [ but does not have a completing ] it shows up as the wrong color.
All of this lets my eye read a page of code and gives me clues as to what is going on.
The idea that there could be an aural counterpart to the visual cues is fascinating.
Of course I don't think Ommwriter will do that - but ah man the idea is planted in my head.
I'm not sure if this is your product or not, but I just wanted to be honest as you were asking for comments.
You don't sell it very well, and you managed to get irritated by the noises, just at the point I did, and switched them off.
It seem's a rather pointless application, why not open up your work (in whatever format) and listen to the music that you like?
This 'Ommwriter' doesn't seem to offer much, but much respects to the creators, for all the hard work...
