At first glance she reminds you of a young Rory Block...both in looks and sound. If her career continues on that trajectory, Danielle Miraglia will be a staple on the acoustic blues scene for a long time. The Boston native has been making noise in blues circles for a few years now since her debut release in 2001. Her style of melding delta blues and traditional folk music along with a strong lyrical presence, developed while obtaining a Creative Writing degree at Emerson, has landed her on the stage at blues and folk festivals across the country and caught the attention of the normally jaded blues press. She's performing a traditional classic, Stagger Lee, during her taping for The Extended Play Sessions.
